Shen Huaibin, male, born in December 1981, is a doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor. He is the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the leader of the innovation team in Colleges and universities of Henan Province, and the academic and technical leader of the Education Department of Henan Province. He received his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Henan University in 2005, his Master's degree in Science from Henan University in 2008, and his Doctor's degree from Jilin University/Henan University in 2011. Since then, he has been working in the Key Laboratory of Special Functional Materials, Ministry of Education, Henan University. In 2013, the rule was broken to promote him to associate professor. From 2014 to 2015, he went to Florida University as a visiting scholar. In 2016, he was appointed as a distinguished Professor/Distinguished Professor of Yellow River Scholars. In 2019, he became the third level distinguished Professor of the “Special Zone for Outstanding Talents”.

Professor Shen has been engaged in the synthesis, assembly and large-scale preparation of fluorescent quantum dot material and the research of QLED based on fluorescent quantum dots. By January 2020, Professor Shen has published more than 100 SCI papers. Among those, he has published more than 60 articles in Nat. Photonics, Nano Lett., Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Mater as the corresponding author. He has presided over 4 projects based on the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 2 projects of the Education Department of Henan Province. He has applied for 21 national patents related to quantum dot synthesis and luminescence display, and obtained 12 approvals. In addition, he won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Henan Province (ranked first).
