On May 22nd, Nur KIRABAEV, executive vice president of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Victor BARABASH, dean of the School of Literature and Journalism, and Natalia PABLOVSKAYA, associate dean of Foreign Affairs, visited HENU. HENU President SONG Chunpeng met with the guests.

SONG Chunpeng introduced HENU and its exchange with Russia. He said that HENU and Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia have maintained a stable cooperative relationship. He hoped that the two universities would further expand the scope of cooperation to science and technology disciplines such as Chemistry, Ecology and Medicine, and strive to achieve greater achievements in teacher-student exchanges, cooperative research, personnel training and mutual learning of school-running experience, and contribute to promoting academic exchanges and enhancing friendship between China and Russia.

Nur KIRABAEV introduced the basic situation of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. He said that Henan University is one of the most important cooperative universities of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in China. Over the past ten years, lots of outstanding talents have been trained in the process of cooperation and exchange. He hoped that the two universities would further strengthen exchanges and expand the scope of cooperative specialty.

Nur KIRABAEV formally invited SONG Chunpeng to attend the 60th anniversary of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in 2020.
