On June 6th, the opening ceremony for HENU School of Medicine and School of Clinical Medicine was held at Henan Province People’s Hospital.

KAN Quancheng, director of Health and Family Planning Commission of Henan Province, and HENU Chancellor LU Keping unveiled the nameplates of the two schools.

HENU president SONG Chunpeng said that according to the principle of “complementary advantages, mutual benefit, common development and sharing of results”, we should continue to promote the substantive cooperation and integration with Henan Province People’s Hospital in many fields. GU Jianqin, dean of Henan Province People’s Hospital and HENU School of Medicine, said that the school would fully integrate teaching and medical treatment, clinical research and university scientific research, and training medical talents of HENU and clinical research, making the cooperation between HENU and the Hospital effective.

HUANG Wei, inspector of Health and Family Planning Commission of Henan Province, and DIAO Yuhua, deputy director of the Education Department of Henan Province, put forward hope for the construction and development of HENU School of Medicine.
